Serengeti

National Park

There are many places on Earth that will leave you in awe but few leave a mark like the Serengeti National Park.

The Serengeti, a wilderness in northern Tanzania, is one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. It's far more than just the backdrop for the Great Migration. The park which is located in the northern Tanzania, bordering Kenya and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers over 5,700 square miles which makes it a place of infinite landscapes, from the wide open southern plains, to the acacia-dotted savannah.

The name “Serengeti” comes from the Maasai word meaning “the land that goes on forever,” or as described in the latest Mufasa movie as "Milele". As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you can see the Big Five; buffalo, lions, elephants, rhinos and leopards in their natural habitat. , a precious experience in a land where humans aren't the top of the food chain. Each season brings a new spectacle, but nothing compares to witnessing the Great Migration; a dramatic, year round movement of over a million wildebeest and zebras in search of fresh pasture

The Serengeti is also a home for other wildlife such as the Giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, and hyenas that roam freely, and bird enthusiasts will delight in over 500 species, from the beautiful ostrich to the lilac breasted roller. It’s truly a showcase of nature’s incredible diversity.
